The Building Inspection Division is dedicated to consistently protecting the general public by providing structural and life safety through the enforcement of Ordinances and Building Codes. These include:

Location
The Building Division is located on the second floor of the City Country Building at 221 North 5th Street.

Inspection Requests
Inspections are scheduled in a two-hour block format, with the first inspection starting at 9:00 am. Inspections called in after 4:00 pm will be scheduled for the next day. Inspectors and their inspection times fill up fast. It is important to call as soon as you need an inspection.

All information requests may be submitted by email. It can take up to three weeks to complete a request.
