 Compost
 |
The City of Bismarck wants to give you a thank-you gift. But you're going to need some big garbage containers or a pick-up truck to collet it! Each Bismarck family may pick up one free load of compost from the City Landfill, (2111 N 52nd St) Bring your shovel and up to three large garbage containers OR take home 1/4 a pick-up truck bed full.
Compost Uses
You can use compost to surround your trees. This method is great for keeping tree roots moist. Using equal parts of sand and compost has proven to be a great mix for potting plants. Compost is a good fertilizer when used in vegetable and flower gardens. back to top
