The money raised through the coin drive at the Bismarck Public Library through Sept. 21 will go to the Central Asia Institute. They will use the money to purchase school supplies, scholarships and teacher salaries for schools in those countries.

The library’s volunteer club will create a Pennies for Peace display, and coins will be collected at the children’s reference desk.
